I have been a painter all of my life. I began drawing on the walls at the age of 6 and never stopped.

I began school at Fullerton Community college in hopes of pursuing a career in fine arts and quickly found my place in the scene shop of the theater department. Once I realized that I could not only paint the set, but decide what was being painted as well I quickly shifted my major to scenic design.

After 3 productive years I transferred to The University of North Carolina School of the Arts where I fell headfirst into an amazing theater conservatory. I learned classical painting, design, drafting, sculpting, model building, texture painting, and anything I could my hands on.

I moved to New York City in August 2014 and began a career of designing and scenic painting in off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway theaters. I have worked in small shops, small theaters, large warehouses, and studio locations in the middle of nowhere.

As a freelance Scenic Artist I have been able to hone my skills in foam carving, epoxy application, mould making, sculpture carving, texture application, paper sculpting, plaster and cement application, and chemical mixing.
